Dr. Carrie Breitbach
Carrie is an Assistant Professor of Geography at Chicago State University, teaching cultural, economic and environmental geography. She earned her doctorate at Syracuse University, where she studied the cattle and beef industry in South Dakota. Carrie is now educating CSU students about the environmental and social geography of the Calumet region.

Gerry is a resident of Jeffery Manor for 31 years. She joined the Task Force
as a volunteer in 2004 and served as president for a year during 2005-06.
Gerry enjoys gardening and many outdoors activities. She is Deputy Director
in the Bureau of Vital Statistics of Cook County. |
